"It's nothing a little icy hot can't fix" is my new catch phrase. I'm so making a movie :)

Trying to buy some almonds at Trader Joes:
“…but the clerk said they were out of stock indefinitely and then he tried to push those ungodly cinnamon-sugar coated almonds on me. He said they were “yummy”. I snapped bro! I told him that his childish preference for cinnamon-sugar coated almonds can most certainly explain his current physical state. In contrast, I was a grown man and an elite athlete following the Crossfit Functional Fitness Regime - My body was a finely tunes primal machine - My internal insuline response system is hypersensitive to sugar induced glucose spikes – so therefore I was going to be buying his candy coated almonds. I had no interest in taking that sugar crash course ride again.” - Paleo

I'll be happy to run outside when we figure out how I can keep my feet from getting dirty.

Not to sure what to make of my running today.

Felt like I was running from an Immigration Officer the first 800 and dropped a 3:20.07
Second 800 was a breeze, a strong breeze in my face the entire lap and I kicked home for a 3:50.65
Took a good hard look at my self and decided to obliterate my previous time for the 3rd 800... 3:48.33
Last 800 was a group one and I always feel I do my best work in a group setting 3:36.69

Not to sure if there is such a thing but it was good running weather out there today. We have some fast runners in our GBCCF community. I am not one however.

November 5, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterbrad
is the ICY FREAKING HOT supplied by get built or do we have to get our own?
November 5, 2009 | Unregistered Commenterbrad
The only way you get a runner's high is to run behind a truck expelling massive amounts of exhaust.

Brad - What kind of Protein drinks are you on? You've been "kicking it" lately even after a brief sabbatical! You da man!! Do we need a blood test?
Poole & Travis - Thanks for ya'lls continued Humor on the Get Built Web-Site! You keep me from having to do sit-ups and crunches as the laughter is working on core stomach muscles without much effort!

And Travis - I figured out how to scale today's WOD! - I just did not do it!

robby you could have been a winner today. wheelhouse wod for you. me, not so much. i have lots of excuses but not many good times. broke down to something like 2:56, 3:02, 3:06, and 3:09. (have to check the hard copy but pretty close on these times). hated it. it felt like doing 4 frans with a few minutes rest in between. this wod was completely stupid. i can not stress enough, #$@! this wod. what a load of crap. this wod hurt. i'm going to the doctor about it. expect a lawsuit.
